What are you opening?

A city group? A profession? A hobby? A life stage? A ridiculously specific interest? A place to talk about one television show every week?

One of the reasons Lana’s House exists is because there are so many things women think about privately, talk about with one or two friends, or type into a search bar at 1 a.m.—but rarely get a real room to discuss.

I wanted to build a place where women could actually talk to each other—not just post at each other. Somewhere for the serious conversations, the unserious ones, the recommendations you only trust from another woman, the questions you’ve been sitting with, and the random thought you need to know somebody else understands.

You do not have to arrive with anything profound to say. Lurk for a little while. Answer a question. Join a community. Recommend something you love. Tell us what you’re watching. Ask for advice. Start a conversation because something has been on your mind all day.

The House will become whatever the women inside it make it.
